Tried out some new ideas with Seth yesterday in the studio. The idea was to have water "exploding" around a streamlining swimmer, as if breaking through a curtain of water. Best shot of the session is the one above.
To get to this shot, we had a studio strobe camera left and two battery powered (trying to be safe!) flashes to either side of Seth. My assistant, Anna, threw bucket after bucket of mostly warm water at Seth until the pattern of water looked the way we wanted.
One hour, probably 25 bucket fulls of water, one great time had by all.
